give it a few days and the engine light will come on. When I put my o/r pipe on it took about 3 days before the light came on. BTW I bet that is a pretty unique sound you got there.

I have come about 2 clicks close to ordering Mac's o/r prochamber...but I keep running into the same perdicament of not having a tuner. I can't afford the 350 dollars more for a tuner...chevy_slayer, do you have a tuner? If not, does it seem to be running lean? how deep is the growl? this is the exact setup I want, I just need to afford it first. Thanks

if you look on rpmoutlet.com they have o2 simulators for $54.95. These will take care of your check engine light.

it has been a busy week for me. so far i have not had a problem with the check engine light, which is good. if the would of happen, i think ima give those o2 simulators a try.

this car sounds loud. when idle you could kinda feel the vibration of the rumble. sounds pretty deep at crusing speed. this morning i checked my MPG and it read like 8 .i'll take some pic under the car and take some video. just wondering who would be able to host it

A couple days ago I installed the MAC Prochamber on my mustang. I also have Flowmaster 40s on mine and man is it loud i'm suprised I haven't gotten pulled over yet. Its worth the buy if you like the old muscle car sound. My CEL also came on about two days after install. Do you really need a tune when you put on the o/r prochamber or can you get away with it for a little while? Just wondering because I wasn't planning to get it tuned untill early next year. I'll try to take some video in the next two days so you guys can hear it.

i just installed the MAC off road pro chamber this weekend. i have flowmasters, and i dont know if i like the sound now. it almost has a high pitch ricey sound to it. it sounds pretty exotic, and not like a muscle car. i think i might try to put the stock mufflers back on to see if that gets rid of it. i think the combination of the two, both being chambered in design, makes it resonate like a trombone or something. dont get me wrong....its VERY loud and i get compliments left and right, and it turns heads....but it wasnt quite the sound i was looking for.

holeshot, maybe there is a difference between the American Thunder Axleback and the 40 series. I don't have the axleback kit from Flowmaster I have just the 40s. I don't think it sounds ricey at all have you heard you car from the outside when someone else is driving it?

that could be it.....i havent heard it from the outside yet, so maybe its just me. i was looking for it to make a more deeper aggressive tone which the flowmasters had with the stock h-pipe. to me it has seemed to make it higher pitched and less authoritive. however, it is very loud, but still wasnt quite the sound i was looking for.

try having someone drive it for you and listen to it you might be plesently suprised. At first I thought the same thing the noise was too raspy without the rumble, but then I had my friend drive it around the block and fell in love with the sound.
