All I can say is wow. I love the sound. I started my car without mufflers on and it sounded like a beat up chevy pickup. The backfiring was cool though. The install went very nice, it was easy to install. Took about 30 minutes to do both. Anybody can do this.

I had to rush to beat the rain so I didn't do a detailed step by step like I did on my LCAs, sorry.

I've heard them in person with the H-pipe, they sound really good but my condo association would kick me out for sure.

My Flowmasters and my H-pipe (plus a bunch more stuff) are on their way to my parent's place in Arizona. I am driving down with the wife and kids from Canada in our Sport Trac to suprise them with a visit and pick up all the stuff.

I have to wait until March when I get home with all the stuff to install it, can't wait!

The stock mufflers are a lot smaller in size themselves. The chamber is shorter by 3 or 4 inches. Problem is the giant stainless tips on them. I don't know the answer to that

The FRPP/Borlas are half as heavy as stock (I think). Watch out though, they drone at 1.5 - 2k.

I have yet to hear the flowmasters in person...I wish I knew someone in my area who have them

I haven't driven it much yet so I'm not sure. I do have a rattle of some kind though. Under real hard acceleration I get a rattle noise sometime for half a second and it goes away. Might be my license plate frame.

I noticed a rattle after installing mine too, but inside the car. Thought it was coming from the dash at first but figured out it was the e-brake handle. Only happens for a second whlie accelerating. Just a little more vibration I guess.

It's louder accelerating, but just cruising on the highway there's no more drone than stock imo.

yeah I figured it might be something else. They rattled real bad at first and then I found it was a metal coat hanger vibrating in the trunk.

I think the drone is noticible at 1200-1700 rpm. After that its fine.

What do you guys use to polish your stainless tips? Since I got mine used I tried using scotchbrite to clean them up a little. Big mistake, I killed the finish on one of them, it isn't shiny anymore, just dull. I used a Meguiar's power ball on it and it shined it a little bit, but not a mirror finish like it was.

I just went to pepboys and got some Blue Magic Liquid Metal Polish, it says it works on stainless. I'll let you know how it works.

Paper towel and windex works.

I'm not that **** about it... I just wipe the crud off when the car gets washed.

Yeah, I'm interested as well. I bought mine new, but even wiping them off almost daily they are not as shiny as they once were.

guess I am **** about it.
