IMCO Performance Exhaust has introduced one of the BEST SOUNDING axle-backs for the all-new 2005 Mustang GT! This axle-back system features a unique 2-chamber muffler engineered to produce the aggressive rumble that enthusiasts are looking for out of their new Mustang. The mufflers are made of aluminized steel and are painted black to blend in with the undercarriage of the car. The exhaust tips are 3.5" stainless steel beauties with an angled, rolled edge. The fit and finish on this system is superb and everything is included to simply bolt this kit in under an hour!

Just listened to the sound clip and the imco is one of the best sounding systems I have heard yet, has that great aggressive rumble that I am looking for.
A friend of mine is installing a Bassini catback system on Thurs. night and I want to hear what that sounds like, but do like the IMCO.

That sounds awesome! I might have to get it. I was considering the Bassani axle back/just getting the xpipe but wasnt sure if 1) it was legal and 2)voiding the warranty...and also the price.
The IMCO axle back is legal/doesnt void the warranty and does not have to be done by a professional. And can be done without raising the car in the air...correct?

How would you compare the sound of the IMCO to the Bassani axle back system? I think I am deciding between these two (havent heard any sound clips of the JBA) and want to know if the bassani is worth the extra 200 bucks(SS)? I have herad sound clips of both but it is hard to tell how loud they really are. Is the IMCO much louder than stock? Can I install the bassani axle back myself also?

Yes, you can install the Bassani axle-back in a driveway with basic tools. Actually all of the axle-backs are easily installed.

Hey Nino,
Do you happen to have any coupons for returning customers? I'd love to throw those babies under my car asap.
For me, it is between the Mac axle back and IMCO, not sure yet. Mac is slightly cheaper though.

Yeah post some pic's. Kind of curious as to if you will be able to see the mufflers or if they will hide up behind the bumper.
Let me know how you like them.
I am thinking either the IMCO or the MAC not sure yet.
Oh, by the way welcome to the forum. This is probably the best one for the 05 mustangs.
