I'm Torn Between Strut Tower & Ford Engine Cover
I currently have the Steeda double bar strut tower brace and have had it on the car from the 2nd week that I got it. Now I am considering the Ford engine cover and I'm pretty sure that it isn't going to work with the brace.
I'm torn between removing the brace (which I think adds handling to the car and looks cool) and buying the engine cover (which only looks cool).
I'm not really interested in selling the brace and getting another that will clear the cover. It's kind of one or the other in my mind. What to do?

Get the cover, and then find a brace that fits over the cover such as the single bar one from Stange Development, or the single bar one from Granatelli. That is what I am going to do You could then just sell your current STB.

Ingals Engineering has one that works supposedly. well this one looks like it may work, at least according to there pictures. Way too much money on there site tho, I hope its a mistake, 508, look interesting!!!!!!
Well spoke with rob at ingals, he said that is an error, msrp is like 300 , and he states it sells for about half of what I had seen at 508. contact colorado mustang if interested is what I was told.

Yes, that does make sense, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
However, I needed a brace, and liked the Ford cover, so I sold my Midwest auto cover and got what I wanted.

I have the Ingalls brace guys , and as I have reported before , it fits with the covers either stock or aftermarket . All you do is shim the rear mounting studs a little . And by the way I LOVE THE BRACE it works well . I have there full suspention kit on the car , and it is **** up good stuff

Well I guess you went with the Granatelli single bar brace? I was going to tell you that I have the Steeda double bar brace and the Midwest Auto Gear GT engine cover and with just a slight bit of cutting to the cover it fits just fine.....best part is that the Steeda brace covers up the area I had to trim - so it doesn't look bad at all.
