Forgot to mention future plans include built MMR shortblock, ported heads, aggresive turbo cams, 700-800rwhp.

They have a good reputation and have what I'm looking for in a built motor for a decent price.

My I suggest first looking into other builders as options, just to be well informed...as well as looking into the rep of MMR on different mustang forums. My .02 if you want, I've heard good and bad. Saving $300 or however much isn't worth the percentage of bad stories I've heard. Look into Boss 330 Racing, MV Performance, and Modular performance. Those are the top builders that I'm aware of. I used to think VT engines was good, but come to find out they don't build engines. They're just brokers. The used to use a company called VT Performance for their engines, but they are no longer in business. VT engines now uses ProLine out of GA. About all they're good for is combinations, but you pay the middle man price.
Boss 330 Racing has a few parts that are unique. I have some aggressive billet turbo cams that are doing the trick! He also puts together a killer valvetrain. He also has cam gears, if you decide to lock out the VCT (which I would at those power levels). The downfall with them as with most anyone that's top notch is the turn around time. Shortblocks are quick. It's head porting that's time consuming!
MV Performance (out of GA), does it all. Engines, chassis, street cars, race cars, etc. Nice guys too!
All I'm saying is to look around a bit more under the surface. I say this simply b/c you say MMR has a good rep. Get more informed before parting with good $$$.

Don't worry about it. I've got a good two years atleast to read the stories.
