So i just bought the C&L as it seems to be the best alternative to the haphazard JLT. I dont think i will be the last to do this, just the first of many. hopefully we will be able to get a refund on the JLT. If not, some kind of major warning will be posted on every site in all the forums warning of the poor quality and worse customer service. I fell like a really mean guy but i thought after all the snipping and alcohol rubbing and hairspray spraying that it wouldnt fall off again but it did. Tonight while going 120 on the highway it did. So im through. JLT is the worst product IMO and i wont be doing business again. GIMME MY REFUND!

 

I have been on this forum for awhile now and don't post often, but find all of this interesting.

I won't be getting my GT until January, so my input doesn't count for much, but here it goes... I believe that the JLT has very much potential to be an affordable alternative to the C&L, as it performs, but has a flaw.

If I had to purchase today, I would get the C&L. Hopefully by January, I can be confident in Jay and his product and change my choice. But at this time it obviously needs some refinement. I believe things will eventually get worked out and everyone will be happy... I guess I'm an idealist.

Like I said though: if purchasing today, I would get the C&L, not good P.R. for JLT right now.

 

I agree this is a problematic issue, but on a side note...Why were you going 120?..

 

i was goign 120 beacuse it fun to go really fast really late at night when no one is awake

lol...first off... i never said anything about rich. second of all... i didnt try to sell my JLT for an unfair price. Third of all, i wasnt cheating anyone. The JLT was in new condition and had less than 50 miles on it. Fourth, who the heck are you to assume that i was making anything up? and lastly, learn to spell... its BANNED!

 

Uhm, did you try using a set screw like he said?
