Just got the hurst shifter in today, and I love it. Only problem is i don't like the white ball shifter ****. i'm not crazy about the t-handle style. Does anyone know if there is any other style shifter ***** that will fit on it. Even if its a round billet looking ****, I would prefer over the white one. Thanx

The shifter is the same thread size as the stock one. I'll try to find the actual size, and then you can buy pretty much any aftermarket **** with that thread size.

If the Hurst shift handle does have the stock thread pattern, it's M12x1.25

I did a search and found the original Hurst thread (the BIG one) and the guys were saying that the thread is 3/8" X 16.

There are two versions of the Hurst shifter for the '05+ Mustangs, one with the chrome shift arm and white ball (3/8-16 threads) and one with a black arm and no ball (stock threads, intended to be used with the stock shifter ****.)

I installed the chrome version on my car, and got an 8-ball **** with 3/8-16 insert from these guys:

EPCO

I got the 2-1/4", standard billiards size, and it's great.
