I emailed them a question last week and I got a reply from them today. The reply itself seems fine, but look at the spelling and grammer!!! I don't know, but if I owned a company, I would not want emails with my name attached being sent looking like this (I have not altered this in anyway):

QUESTION: [I have a 2005 Mustang GT. I have read your home page with all the advantages of having an aftermarket tune done. My Mustang is a manual 5 spd. I have not found anything that talks about any positive affects with the throttle by wire.

Can you please let me know what changes have been made, if any to the TBW characteristics of my vehicle. I do not like the factory set up and wish it could be more like a true throttle cable.

Thanks in advance.]

------------------------------------------------------------

ANSWER:
Dear Richard Turnbull,

That is something adress on the tune, it defenectly inporves the quality off the TBW feel, will never be like a cable, but most off the feed back that we get from customers will state difrently, you will not be desapointed with the overall gain, contact any diablo dealer or PDI performance at 305-218-1486 they can help you

Thank you for your interest in DiabloSport!
Stay tuned,
Willie, a proud member of the DiabloSport Support Team

wow, you are trying to discredit a company over some poor english from one of their support members?

Was this really worth a thread?

Hey, next time pick on Bush!

I don't mean to , but it's grammar, not "grammer."

I'd love to pick on Bush, but which one

I know what ya mean though, the spell checker can be a pain to use and often times it can confuse people.

I don't have anything against the company, I know their product is great., but come on, it does make you wonder.

As for my spelling....well lets just say I am not the greatest I'll be the first to admit, but I am not representing a company.

That is something that I notice a lot as well, and it turns me off to a company when I see it. I makes me question their credibilty when I wouldn't otherwise. I'm sorry but communication is key, especially if you're going to be interfacing with the customers regularly. They may be great technicians and plenty capable, but it just sends a negative message to me.

Well,

First, I have to say that I have Dyslexia and cannot spell well. I had to work extreamly hard to get through most english classes in college. My grammar is ok, but spelling sux. I have to use a method called sight spelling. Basically, you memorize what the word looks like and then draw it instead of spelling it. If I cannot remember what it looks like, I have little chance of spelling it correctly.

So, I tend to cut people some slack... However, I do spell check all of my company emails. It does make the company look bad.

I do not, however, bother with spell checking posts like this one. If people are offended by that, I am sorry....

I am not sure how many words are misspelled in this post, but you are welcome to count them....

On the other hand. At least you know (or can assume) someone actually read your question and gave you a human response. In my book, that's better than a perfectly spelled canned response produced by some automated parser. Or no response at all for that matter.

That said, it is pretty bad. I could understand one or two errors but I'm not sure anything but the signature is correct in there response.

Look at it this way. If this were your company would you want an employee responding in this manner? I think not. A good impression is good marketing.

After reading Wille's response it's difficult to tell if they did in fact adjust for the throttle wire. I will assume they did?

Richard,
Not that you were asking, but if you're concerned about TBW response, just get a Bamachips tune. Its as good as you're going to get anywhere.

As for the reply from Diablo, a mispelled word here or there doesn't bother me too much, but that was really bad. That would turn me off for sure.
