How fast is your DD?

Put mine through a good test last night. Drove 140 miles to Famoso, changed tires and ran this...
Attachment 28091
It was 109º at 6:00 pm when the track opened (hot as heck!)

Changed tires at the end of the night and drove 140 miles home.

No weight shaving mods at all - car weighs 3900 lbs.

Very nice.
My DD can do 0-60 in under 10 sec.

Nice numbers Killer...and gotta love that 60' time. I'm at 12.8 NA. Going out again this weekend and try to get a bit lower. Kind of hard on an un-prepped asphalt airport taxiway...but fun either way.

Very impressive considering the conditions I don't bother to race in this weather, I wait till the fall

I'm in the mid 13's and I'm happy enough with that. Don't have the money to be throwin around to make it even faster.

YEP - it's ALWAYS fun even when the conditions aren't so great. You biatch about them at the time, but it still beats sitting at home any day of the week..

Thanks guys - I'll keep you posted on my quest for a 9 sec DD with full Roush interior and no cutting!

Very nice and extremely impressive!

If you're ever out in southern Arizona, stop by and we'll go race at my home track. There's nothing like heat similar to Famoso AND 3,100 feet altitude!! And maybe I'll run you with my '05..... ummmm..... naaa... let's make it my Camaro! It was daily driven until about three years ago, replaced with my '03 Cobra. But it's still registered and emissions-legal and unfortunately, looking to sell. Basically need to sell my toy due to my wife's upcoming surgery....

I ran 13.11 this weekend to win the modular motor class at the Mid America Shelby Meet in Tulsa. DD with CAI, Brenspeed 91 tune, off road H, Pullies, 410 gears and flowmasters. The weather was 85 and humid as he!! . I'm sure it will go 12.8 in good air.

Well 12.4 here and I admit to needing A LOT of practice.... my first trip to the track with the blower and I had trouble launching and shifting (keeping it in the powerband) lol.

Congrats on a killer ride, Mark!

Since I won't be able to hit the 1/4-mi until late October, I'll have to settle for getting into the 6's in the 1/8-mile in the meantime. The first attempt will be this week (I hope).

Well you may not have a slip until October but we all know if you hit the 6's in the 1/8 then you will have a 10 sec DD as well...
