I looked at just about every aftermarket muffler out there and really like the sound of the Areochambers, The one thing I couldn’t research was the quality of the part.
I only hope that the mufflers I got were a one-time thing; I spent almost 3 hours trying to get them to fit right. I couldn’t get the angle of the slash cut the same on both mufflers.
The clamps that are supplied with them did not tighten down enough to keep the muffler from moving a round on the exhaust pipe; and on one of the mufflers the Hooker inscription was missing. :bang:

Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend these. I guess I’ll be going to the Bassani’s now.

(I should mention that I do like the sound of them to bad they don't fit)

I thought the clamps that came with my flowmasters couldn't be tightened to the point of no wiggle, but I mustered some Hulk like strength to tighten them just a bit more to where the don't wiggle at all.
