Does anyone have any idea which wires to tap into for the dash lights. I've installed 3 AutoMeter Cobalt pillar gauges and they have back lighting that runs off the dash lights. I'm having a hard time find the one to tap. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I think it's a black/white wire coming out of the dimmer, near the headlight switch. Hopefully someone who's used that wire will chime in, but I'm 99% sure that's it.

 

I would rather not attach it to the dimmer wire but rather the one the turns the dash lights on/off. There are bout six wire in that bundle and I was hoping to not have to trail-n-error them.
