Can anyone please explain how you go about downloading Xtreme tune from SCT.
From their website I tried to download it and it just won't open on my computer. I tried running it from the download box and also saving the file and it just won't operate. It just wants to keep reinstalling itself, anyone else have this problem. All I want to do is lower the idle on the car it is just a bit too high.......

 

Mine told me I had to have the Xcal hooked up to the PC before it would open up. I haven't tried it yet cuz I just got it and have no time. But I put it out there for you in case it works.

Thanks Dan for the reply. Im going to get the pc cable and see how it goes, all I want to do is slightly lower the idle.

 

Craig, can't you do it right in the SCT tuner? Lower the idle that is.
I'm not sure on that, I'll ask the guys at the shop.

 

Jay, I can't do it right from the xcalibrator. I need the PC cable and the xtreme tune download (which im having trouble downloading from SCT) and I should be able to do it. I'll call you on Monday or Tuesday morning...........Craig

P.S. I tried both DTP tunes 87 and 91 and they both perform very good. The car has a real nice growl when the throttle is opened................

 

I'll 2nd that comment - was "showing" my g/f the newfound power yesterday and this thing REALLY lunges from a mid RPM 2nd gear punch. Definitly feels much stronger - I installed the Steeda ud's last night and just have the Magnafow x-pipe left then I can get to a tuner/dyno and see what she's putting to the ground!!
