Received my Stainless Works 1 3/4 headers this week, but need to know what type of gasket should be used and a part number. I assume the 3 valve heads use something different than the earlier SOHC and DOHC 4.6 engines?

SW will tell you to reuse the original. That's what I did and I haven't had any issues. I thought it was very weird though. I've always thought that you need to replace them when they're removed.

Metal gaskets can be reused when they are not in bad shape. Common knowledge in repairing vehicles, i have to do these all the time when i mess with EGR systems.
