Has anyone tested the new Hurst billet shifter?
Summit Racing has them for $207, and I'm really tempted. Hurst Part #3915201.
Anyone tried it out yet?

I doubt it.
I was waiting on this one as well but finally gave up and ordered the tri-ax from steeda. It's been no looking back ever since....
I wouldn't wait, you could be waiting a loooong time.

Hurst still has the shifter on "engineering hold" and there is no release date as of yet. I have been working through a vendor that has been in contact with hurst and this is what they reported. Since this has really been months, I have to wonder what is going on at Hurst.... I know I won't be the first one to get one if & when they do come out....Second choice would be a pro5 but I'm not in a real hurry yet.

last i heard about 2 months ago from Hurst themselves is the shifter has been scrapped. get the pro 5.0 shifter, buy the chrome hurst shift stick and the hurst ball and your set. looks like a hurst, but shifts liek the pro 5.0 cause it is the pro 5.0. i never looked back

When ordering from Summit ask and see if they have the part in stock first. That way you don't get stuck waiting 1/2 the year for your part.I have learned the hard way and a particular intake manifold I oredered took 4 months.

ok the Chrome Stick part number is "2387201"
if you want the white ball to fit it just ask for the white classic hurst ball.
if you want the black ball to fit it, the part number is "1630108"
