Whoa!!! I'm undecided whether to go with Paxton or Whipple s/c. Happy with it?

I wanted to go with 10" rear razors but they are only in 8/5".

Also, I read a thread somewhere that exceeding 450HP may put a wrinkle in the tranny. I'm trying to see whether I can get Shelby in LV to replace my auto tranny with a 5-speed.

What are your thoughts? (new GT-H owner).

The razors come in 9 inch. Choppers did you do a before dyno with stock tires? I was wondering the same thing how much extra hp does it take to turn the 20" razors over the stock 17" tires and rims.

20" RAZORS....

NO, I DIDN'T TUNE WITH STOCK TIRES, MY 06 CAME WITH 17'S...SUCKED...I ONLY DYNOED AFTER THE SUPERCHARGER...BUT THE 20'S ARE THE SAME HEIGHT AS STOCK....THEY ARE MUCH LIGHTER THAN STOCK, PROBABLY DON'T ROB OR ADD ANY POWER. MINE SMOKE ANYTIME I HIT THE PEDAL, EVEN WHILE I'M DOING 30 MPH.

^ Please don't use caps. It is hard to read and looks like you are yelling. Since you are new, we will let it slide this time.

What is your total weight per wheel with the Razors ? I don't know what the factory ones weigh.

Is it possible to have the same height as stock also? You must have the thinnest tire walls ever.

They can be - sometimes. If you find a lightweight 20 and can be lighter than a stock 17. Ford doesn't exactly put forth the best effort to design lightweight racing wheels. That said, I haven't seen a whole lot of lightweight 20s , but I'm sure they're out there.

I know that if 20" are forged, they can be lighter than stock 17, but I doubt that his 20" razors are forged.

My stock tires and wheels had an overall diameter of 27.17in(690.11mm) and my 20" razors have an overall diameter of 27.02in(686.30mm) so technically my 20's are slightly smaller than stock.

My baseline w/20" was 267 to the rear wheels.

My 20x10 with 275/35 weighed in at 61.5 lbs each
My 17x8 with 26x11.5 weighed in at 44.5 lbs each (4 more rwhp & 11 more rwtq)

Great info, I thought you lose way more power with 20". A forum member on here if I remember correctly lost 20 rwhp from switching to 18" from 17". how did you gain so much rwhp from just the cai/tune. Did you have any other mods?
