GT500 Brakes Installed

Have been on for about a month and a half. Sorry I haven't posted pics sooner. I'll try to get more after the ice storm moves through...

For reference I have added a pic before the FR-3 and Brembos...

looks like Ford GT supercar wheels. approx 900 bucks a piece I believe from FRPP.

But the brakes look sweet. I cant wait to install mine. I just have to sort out wheel/spacer issues.

Barrett,

Those look great. When I saw them in person I was jealous!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I would have jumped on that deal when they were cheaper. I love the way they fill up the empty space behind the wheel. The wheels are a a perfect fit on your car too. We are hibernating until this ice storm passes, but as soon as it's nice outside post some more pics!

I wish those wheels were cheaper. They look soooooo much nicer than the imported knock offs. THOSE are the wheels that should come on a GT500 right from ford.

But I still am not sure if I prefer the 18" factory bullitts or not. But it is one or the other.

I work at a Ford dealer, so the parts were discounted. I ended up paying about $450 for the brakes (don't start screaming and throwing things at your computer monitor). I ordered the parts back in Aug.? I believe and didn't finally get everything (backorder) until Dec. In that time the prices went up to a little over $700. The reason I ordered the brakes in the first place is because they were so cheap. I figured the price would go up (it always does).

The wheels are off of the Ford GT, and as previously mentioned are available from FRPP.
I agree these would be sweet on the GT500. If I end up getting one (or a Boss) I will def. use these wheels.

Robbie - Are you enjoying the ice as much as I am? We are actually closed today.

Wow, 400 is dirt cheap. Did you do the rear cobra pads too?

And here I am thinking I did pretty good with spending 700 for my set back in september.

Didn't put the Cobra pads on the rear. I may do that in the near future.
