I'm definately looking into getting a 05 GT and I'm curious about what you guys paid for yours. Ford lists about $26,000 MSRP however a dealership near me is asking $33,000.

How much did you guys pay and was it for the GT Deluxe or Premium.

Thanks

Ordered this week, equipped as shown in my signature below...not the best deal, but couldn't get an X-plan. Am paying $26,500.00, less a $500 Ford Factory Rebate for being a recent college (law school) graduate.

MSRP was $27725 as equipped:

2005 Mustang GT
Premium
Sonic Blue
5-speed Manual
Active Anti-Theft
Bright Machined Wheels
IUP
Wheel Locks
Side airbags

I paid $25138.17 +TTL That is on X-plan with the $500 military appreciation. Patience was required to find a dealer to work with and to wait for the car to be built, but I think I got a good deal.

Good Luck!!

details in my sig. Ordered in May of 04, A-plan pricing. Dealer had no qualms whatsover, as nearly 75% of their business is plan pricing. Keep shopping. You'll find a good one sooner or later.

MSRP Not a penny more or less. Fully loaded GT Premium vert $34,705.

I would pay that again in a heartbeat but not over MSRP like some.

I think the point here is find a friend that works for Ford. I paid $24,400 for a GT manual loaded. I would have problems with paying for a non-plan price and so should everyone else.

I paid MSRP, with options it was $28,645.00, fully opted premium minus red interior and shaker 1000.

I think the highest msrp you can get with every option would be $30,000.00.

Be careful to check the window sticker, alot of dealerships are adding their own wheels and junk then making it look like it's a factory option. And they are adding a "market adjustment" that if you don't pay attention will be listed on a smaller sticker like and option.
