Got my Whipple
Picked up my car from Alternative Auto yesterday. Man what a difference. Got the H.O. kit and put down 455 to the tires.
Heres some pics.

congrats! i'm thinking of taking the plunge too, and i'm doing some research on how well this could cope with the weather i have down here in Dubai.
one thing though.. while 455rwhp is RESPECTABLE, i've seen others at 475rwhp on an otherwise completely stock setup..
have you got any other mods on? i'm thinking headers lowering the back pressure and boost?

The injectors are what comes in the kit. I have 4.10 gears, and that shows fewer rwhp than 3.55's, how much i am not sure. Lidio does his own tune, and could be toned down a liitle bit vs whipple's.
This thing pulls hard.............

Nice set-up...

Yes, the hood insert had to be removed. I am going to talk to Lidio tomorrow, If you look to the left, the scale for the a/f is very narrow compared to most others, so this will greatly amplify the highs and lows. I have put 8,000 miles on in 2 years, she is just a toy, now a really powerful toy. I will be looking at a forged bottom end next winter possibly, and more boost.

HO kits are intercooled, use the GT500 fuel pumps, and run 10PSI of boost by default producing ~475rwhp
Regular kits are non-intercooled, run at 6PSI of boost and produce ~380rwhp

Congrats on getting blown! That first time in boost is something I'll never forget!
He's got an auto! That's why he's not at the 475 level as some of the manuals. So 455 rwhp is extremely respectable.

I really think the Whipple is the best kit available, but GAWD I hate that sound it makes...lol
And you gotta love it when the tuner sees the dyno graph and all he can say is "Holy @#$%".....that's awesome!
