Got my Amer Racing Headers today !! Pics!!
UPS just delivered my new American Racing Headers. They look top notch, excellent craftsmanship!! Thanks CR w/ tillmanspeed for the great pricing and customer service. Thanks Nick w/ ARH for the great product. Can't wait to get them installed.
Chris, thanks for the quick reply.
They look great. Really nice!!!
Im a huge fan of hooker headers. I have two sets of them on present cars (27 ford/68 camaro) and love them.
I saw some pics of the hooker long tubes and didnt like the flange welds
at all.
I also saw pics of the mac long tubes and they are also nice looking.
Thanks for the pics it looks like i now have an other option.

No problem, Chris!
Look at those flanges... Nick over at American Racing really does have like high end quality in his parts that you would expect on exotic vehicles.

Good to hear. I'm waiting on the H-pipe too. I REALLY want to know if these (or any others) can be installed in my garage (up on ramps)?!? I mean, is this a DIY project? I've heard fittment is excellent and little to nothing needs to be removed, other than the steering linkage. Is this true of the AR LT or Kooks or any others??
Those headers look fantastic. Not to hijack the thread, but I to am wondering about header installation. Can a complete novice perform the work or is a shop needed. Oh, and if a shop is needed, how much should we be paying for the install. This will probably be the next step I take. Also, does anyone know if Doug has a tune made up for these headers I could download? Again, they look amazing!
I would not attempt headers for a novice in a garage, just not alot of room under there, but I guess you could it just may take you 10hrs to do it. Cost me about $350 for the install, and that's about what it cost me on previous header installs too. I know the catless mainly needs a tune to turn off rear sensors, but didn't know you need a tune for the catted ones
