So beaustang (martin) and I go to Irwindale today. It was hot as heck but we had fun. So I’m running 9.1s all night. Then I run a 74 duster pretty built and win him. That’s when I hear on the radio well the mustang wins it. And then he said well I was just told the mustang is a v6! So after that all night ever time I line up he says here’s that v6 yellow mustang again! Well I take a break and we get some food and watch some races. Anyway I decide one last run. So I’m in line with this Trans Am pretty built up figures last race I’m gonna get stopped. So we start talking and he says he just put on some drag radials and figures he will light them up. Yea right anyway I get to the light. Stage nice. Rev once yellows show and I launch beautifully car sounds great and im actually leading then he starts to pass me. So he gets to the finish first and over the radio you hear well the trans am gets there first but the yellow v6 mustang gets a 8.95. I was yelling so loud everyone could hear me. As I was driving back some kid yelled out hey is it really a v6 and I said yep. And he said wow that’s a fast car. And everyone was yelling with me. It was so cool I’m still horse and can barley talk!

Looking at that 8.76 on this chart places you at a 13.4ET, maybe slightly higher because the 6 is going to cost you some points on the plus side.. The RWHP looks to be about 295RWHP@ 8psi..



Looks like Scrming is still the champ... The question is, can Scrming get the Mistress back in rare form soon enough to hold you off...?

I hope I never get stuck in a 13 sec ET rutt! It appears to be really hard to climb out..
