Good performance cheap long tube headers? (Kooks knockoffs maybe?)
This is the auction that I won. It has a lot more pictures so you can get a little better idea of what they look like. The cats are not exactly what I would consider a cat. They are more like race bullet mufflers than cats. I also reused the stock gaskets instead of using the cheap ones they send you. You can see they have a thick 3/8" flange on them as well.

I had looked for those pics, seen them before on ebay. How do they sound/fit? Did you use the catted/resonated tube or the strait pipe? Might be my Xmas gift this year!!!
I used the "catted" pipe, and with my Dynomax axleback it sounds freaking amazing. It has a low grumble to it at idle and screams at WOT. The fit was great on mine. I need to back under there and adjust the hanger a bit as it hits the transmission cross member and vibrates a bit when you first start it up. Will be a 10 minute fix when I get around to it.

It is tough to estimate the gains with longtubes. Some guys get 30 hp, some get 15, all around the forum I have seen many different results. One thing that is a for sure about the longtubes, you will LOVE the sound
