I talked to a local high performance shop and was quoted $1565.88 for a c&l cai w/ diablosport predator, and a magnaflow exhaust (axle back). This includes dyno testing and a custom tune. They told me they were getting about 20 more rwhp when they "tweak" the tune. This price includes all labor and dyno time. Is this a good price?????????????? Seems high to me. the c&l w/ tuner is $799.98, magna flow exh. is $499.00, total labor is $166, and the dyno time is $100 for the grand total of 1565.78. Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

you can get the tuner and CAI for about 125 cheaper at sites here, I found magna's as cheap as 429 a pair. Most of what I have read you can do the install yourself. I would wait till all my mods are done to dyno it.

Wow, that seems way high. I shop around for a while before ever commiting to anything. I ended up only spending $175 for my JLT intake, X Cal 1, and my tune. My X Cal was used, but the JLT was brand new. I would hold out and shop around a bit more if I were you.

I paid $629 for the C & L/Predator combo, and $375 for my Magnaflow a/b, so it sounds pretty high.

High, and you can do all the install yourself with simple hand tools... lotsa sites you can order this stuff from and get inside of a week. All you need them for is dyno time...

Thanks guys, I have shopped around and found the mods I want a lot cheaper. I'm gonna do em myself and just use their dyno. Thanks again.
