Good Deal on FRPP Handling Pack

If anyones interested, this looks like a pretty good deal on a FRPP handling pack:
http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...t_detail&p=152

You get the shocks, struts, rear sway bar and a set of Eibach springs.

Great deal
Careful though, it says "Springs are a performance upgrade and are NOT intended to lower your vehicle"

Then it shows lowering springs as an option.

While it's FRPP parts it's not the same as the FRPP FR3 kit. First for the the sway bar, it's the rear sway only and that rear was specially sprung for the Foose Mustang. It is not the same as the FRPP sway bar. I called on the 75 buck rear and was told by the tech there at CDC.

It's still a huge deal which if you've been looking for struts and a rear sway it's seems a no-brainer. However the FRPP Handling Kit is is not.

Habu,

I agree that the kit on the CDC site is not the same as the FRPP handling pack, but aren't those shocks and struts the same as the ones in the FRPP kit. If so, it would seem like you could piece a similar kit together with the same parts for less due to the money saved on the shocks and struts. Just a thought, and I may be wrong--it won't be the first time!!!

Thanks for pointing out that the sway bar isn't the FRPP one. I had been thinking of adding beefier sway bars and this looked good for the back.

On another note. Did anyone click on the "overstock sale" link and see the other items? I bought their Baer Rotors back at Carlisle and have them on my car now. LOVE THEM!!! That's a great deal for rotors if anyone wants some.

Actually, now that I look at it closer it says that the struts and shocks were a overrun from a special project just like the sway bar so who knows wtf you are getting since they label them FRPP.

If I had to guess, they are the shocks/struts from the Foose Mustang.

If you look closely (and I remember correctly!), the shocks and struts are manufactured by Dynamic which is the manufacture for the FRPP parts. With that being said, the little bit of doubt I have has prevented me from buying them. I did pick up the Baer rotors from CDC and they are good to go.

I agree that they *might* be the same as the FRPP kit shocks & struts but I'm not 100% certain. Just wanted to point out it is not the FRPP kit. Especially since it does contain a sway bar, no end-links, and you cannot buy any one of the FRPP kit sway bars separately(I've tried without any luck). So you'd essentially have to buy the sway bar kit which is 350+, easily. Either way the stuff was FRPP branded, so it's FRPP parts to some extent.

The rears are over-run from the Foose Mustang per the CDC rep and while it's logical to infer that the shocks/struts are too, I'm wouldn't ASSume that without talking to CDC. Whatever it is exactly, it's a bargin for parts that should perform better than the stock suspension.

I bought a hood and a pair of struts. This stuff is leftover from the Foose Mustang and CDC is liquidating it. Great deals. The struts are the same ones in the FR3 handling pack according to the CDC rep. I'll let everyone know when I get them. My GT-H has a bad strut, so I can compare the old and new.
