Getting Blown, by Roush

Just wanted to share my excitement. Roush has a killer deal on their chrome M90 blowers, $3899. I couldn't resist. And they are running low on stock. So, now that I have mine ordered I wanted to let those of you know that may have been sitting on the fence. I can't wait to install it. I also got their CAI. I'm starting with their tried & true tune to start. I will keep my SCT incase I want custom tunes down the road.
Summer can't come soon enough.
UPDATE: Spring was time enough.
Saturday 4/9/11, 12.3 sec, 1/4 mile @ 112 mph
First time to try out the new M90 Roushcharger and Drag Radials. It did real well. Great day!

Nice, Steve! Glad to hear that you're finally going with some boost! Patrick in Hawaii (808Muscle) is just finishing his install on the same exact blower that you're getting.

You GT automatic will never feel the same again! Kudos to you!

Are the M90 kits able to be upgraded with a larger heat exchanger?

Thanks Brian, I'm realy excited. Even though winter's coming. You know I've been wanting to do something. I think it's offical now that I'm going to hang on to this Stang for a bit more.

Josh, I sure there is an upgrade kit for that blower. It's on their wedsite.

Where is your mind at? This is a car site

You must get some looks with your car in the streets of Bulgaria. I'm guessing not many awesome Cobra's there.

VMP Tuning has a few kits for the M90s, one that adds a smaller pulley and larger intercooler to up the boost, providing 500 crank HP. That's pretty much the limit of the M90, however. If you want to make bigger power, you need an R2300.

Thanks! Was wondering about that, and I know you said you've had one on the road course, so I assume the larger heat exchanger would keep up.
Now just wish I had the funds to get one while they still last!!

We don't run a larger intercooler or radiator on our race car, but we're only running 20 or 30-minute sprints. Never had an engine temperature problem or IAT issue even with temps being over 100*F out here in AZ.

100 min enduro this Thanksgiving weekend should be fun...nice and cool out here now.

Lotta people on the Roush forum www.fnsweet.com swear by VMP's stuff.

Our last event was last month, we've got frost and snow coming down now. Wish it were a bit longer!

So the polished Roush is $3900, $830 for the 500hp package, and heat's not a big issue with this? Man, I wish I hadn't already spent several grand the last few months on all those other parts...

Not for an extra $1100!! I'd powdercoat it black for less than that.

I think they made too many of the chrome ones and are blowing them out to reduce inventory.

Whoa, didn't know about the polished discount...it used to be the other way around--polished was like 1k more than painted.

I'll bet you're correct about the overstock.

Well, I am an old man. But even still, I did ask about my preferance for a black one, and they have them for more $$$. I bought what I could afford.
And yes they do have an overstock of the chrome. But, that is changing quickly at these prices.
BTY, which blower is on the special edition 429R, oh that's right, it is chrome

I have this one and the VMP tunning kit. The tune from VMP is well worth the cash.
