Got a great deal on standard Vortech SQ-2 unit (satin finish) on another forum. Install date is set for Nov. 7 at ST Motorsports.

I've also gone ahead and ordered the Paxton air to air intercooler w/3.33 Pulley, KB BAP, HT0 plugs, Autometer Ultralite gauges (boost/vac, wideband A/F, & fuel pressure), SOS pillar guage pod, and for good measure some new shoes 18x9/18x10 anthracite bullits w/ Nitto 555's 255/45/18 and 285/40/18 (Due to arrive Wednesday).

I've currently got the head unit and MAF housing at the platers for polishing. Also took some of the brackets to the powdercoater. I'll post some pics once they're back.

I'd like to get a 7.6 since according to all the conversion charts that equals an 11sec pass in the 1/4. That's probably wishful thinking though. Adam's already said that it wasn't likely.

Well, I'd sure like to see you go 7.6... that would be cool! Make sure you get out to Barona this winter, and catch one of those rare good air days. It could happen!

 

I was meaning to ask why the hell does Barona only have two days scheduled in Nov and about 2 or 3 in Dec? You'd figure that's the best time to run. During the summer they were open every week.

 

Actually, the best air is between January and April. That's when we've had our best runs.

And until today, they had nothing scheduled in November (except a Jr Dragster event). Now they added a Friday event on 11/7. Screw the Q... I'm going to Barona that night.

Dam thats awesome!!!!!! You will be thrilled!!! Nice choice of accessories to go with the blower I must say. Do you have any numbers in mind you want to hit with the blower? Nov .7 is close, let the build up of nerves and excitment begin!!!

 

After talking with Adam and telling him that I'm concerned with things breaking he said my best bet would be to stay at 420RWHP. That probably won't get me an 11 second pass but maybe later on down the road if I have money I'll go forged internals and go ***** out.

 

I'm right there at 430rwhp and it's definently still fun...
