I think its 19hp or so actually. On my other GT's I put in aluminum flywheels and driveshafts, you wouldn't believe how fast it would rev up, faster then my Duc! There's a lot of weight that that motor has to turn with the stock parts(from 54lbs to 17 just in the DS). But I would do gears first(even though I personally am doing the DS first), best bang for the buck for an N/A mustang. I've always believed in the 'pure' mods that do not force the car to do anything, only -such as aluminum DS/FW, CAI & tune, UDP's and gears, its simply extracting the power already there and using it more effectively.

Aluminum driveshafts do not net any actual dyno horsepower, however they FEEL like a 30WHP increase with the increased RPM speed, and lightened drivetrain.

The Coast driveshaft we sell is 16lbs, less than HALF the weight of the stock driveshaft. Ask anyone who has one installed what they think.

Anything but in their mind.... go drive the car back to back and watch the difference...

So if I put in a 300lb iron driveshaft there would also be no change in the drivetrain hp loss on the dyno? I don't remember exactly but I thought I showed gains with the aluminum FW/DS on the old car???
