so what other good companies are there besides frpp, i dont want to deal with any whining or unecessary noises, the drivetrain is noisy enough as is

are 4.10s bearable on the highway?

4.10s are very driveable on the hiway with a manual trans, probably about the same with an auto since I think both fifth gears in manual and auto trans are relatively similar.

3.73 That is what i am going to be using.

I know of a few that have installed the 4.10's with the auto and then supercharged and they ended up swapping them out to 3.73's

I agree with Tom about the fifth gear in both transmission but the auto trans has a lower 1st and 2nd gear in the trans than the manual does. When you go as steep as 4:10's in the auto you will be in 3rd at like 25 mph under normal acceleration. But at 75 mph cruising speeds it will not be an issue.
