Gauges
Ok, the SuperCharger is going in, in a little over a month. So My question is, what are the primary gauges tha I need and what are some good gauges that are out there.
I was looking at the MSD Lazer gauges and just found out that they are 600 per gauge, so I won't be going that route.
Thoughts??

I have three Autometer Nexus gauges (H2O temp, Fuel Press, Boost) and an AEM wideband A/F gauge [see pics below]. The Nexus gauges are very cool. Here is a demo - http://autometer.com/demos/nexus/

It was about $1200 total for all the Nexus gauges (and controller), the AEM wideband, pillar pod, and the fuel rail adapter.

what are so expensive about gauges

The Nexus gauges have a feature similar to MyColor, so you can change colors. They are also programable and allow you to set warning points that turn the gauge face red when hit. I don't care about the changing colors, but I do like the idea of the full red warning--easy to catch out of the corner of your eye. These also have the clearest display--others in the full sweep look a little too crowded.
Also, they are a full sweep gauge with electric sending units. Compare to other full sweep/electric (e.g. the Autometer Sport Comp II) and you will see the price per gauge is actually pretty close. The cost of the required control unit tacks on another 150-200, though.
Check on Ebay--you can get these for much less than retail. I've done the comparisons and keep coming back to these and will hopefully have them in by the end of summer (oil press., oil temp., coolant temp.--I'm NA for now, though). ~$700 for gauges is still a tough sammitch to eat, though... torrence i paid 150 for the nexus sending unit with remote and 200 for the air/fuel gauge. i paid 120 for the SOS a pillar dual pod. $470 in total so far and you'll get my experience to wire it up as well haha. i still need to buy the H2O, air/fuel, and either oil pressure or fuel pressure. not sure which yet.
