Gasoline Question?

I use Shell 91 octane gas. The 91 octane has additives to clean fuel injectors and etc. Running gas with additives certainly doesn't seem necessary for a new car. Will this hurt my car over the long haul? I suppose all gas has additives but Shell specifically advertises their gas with "V Power". Opinons on this or am I just paranoid?

I've been using Shell 95 V-power gas and never had any problems in 7500 miles. I've even put in 100 octane V-power once (in Germany), but I just feel like it's a waste of money. Today I filled up with 91 from ARAL (that's the lowest octane fuel you can find around here) and the car still did 145 mph without any problems.
My guess is, with the 91 tune you should be just fine

I only use 91 V-Power from Shell or 91 from 76.
I would use 93 if it was available, but it's not. I really think the whole "V-Power" title is just a marketing ploy. I don't think it would have any negative effects in the future.
