I call BS.
This is just the start of crap being made in a hurry for hungry 2005 Mustang owners.
First off, you can see that this is a hood scoop on a stock hood, not a complete hood. Secondly, there is going to need to be one heck of a lot of underhood ducting to get any hood scoop anywhere near any intake.

How do you paint it to match the rest of your car?
Isn't it difficult to get an exact match?
Isn't it expensive to paint the hood?
I would imagine painting on fiberglass is different than paiting on metal.
It would imagin it would cost at least $300 to paint the hood proffesinally to match the car. After you've purchased the hood and painted it, you would have spent at least $1000 - am I correct?

The hood on my 97 was metal. The hood on the 05 is aluminum (I know, I have one).
A friend of mine owns a body shop. He has seen some really nasty fiberglass hoods. Depending on the finish it can cause a lot of "fisheye's" in the paint.

wow... this thread still exists... someone pulled it back up, so here goes... Did I personally like this hood, not particularly. I would definitly wait for another to come out. However, I was putting it up so people who were looking for a functional ram air system would have something. I myself am trying to find a fiberglass place that will make the hood similar to the concept, forget about waiting for one to come out. I'll pay whatever to have the look I want. The only problem is there isn't to many fiberglass places near where I am currently.
