FRPP Strut Tower Brace installation note.
My FRPP strut tower brace from CJPonyparts arrived today. The installation was more than expected. The holes of the bar did not line up. I checked it for proper hole width and looked for damage, correct width, no damage. The strut bolts were too far in by half the width of the bolt when the other side was in. So I jacked up the front of the car and this relaxed the struts enough for the bar to rest on the center of the bolts on both sides. I guess the almost 2 degrees of negative camber had the struts angled more than what the bar allows. I hope to return to midas to get another free alignment reading. Any thoughts?

Yes, I do have a convertible. I re-torqued the nuts when it was lowered. The bar or alignment didn't move once off the jackstands. I heard no poping or creaking when I was lowering the jack. But indeed the the top of the struts were 1/2 bolts distance in at the top when I began. The strut bolts were and are in the center of the mounting holes. The chassis flexes that much.
FWIW, no one heard of breaking a panhard, but I managed to do that also, while autocrossing. The drive home even at 20mph was not fun, as a wobbled down the road that day.

Broke the panhard bar? What brand? Stock? I bet that wasn't any fun driving home.
