Seems like "they" are to most consistant in offering the lowest price. I remember when the were $335.00 shipped not too long ago.

John Bleakly Ford has the cheapest price.

I've done a ton of price searching on the FRPP stingers.

Not neccessarily, check your local dealer first. No shipping and you can pick em up on the way home from work for the same price

watch the for sale forum, people are constantly trying to get rid of them because they are "too loud" ...whatever that means!

it is not how loud they are outside the car - it is the drone on the inside; had mine for8 months now and am still on the fence if the drone is worth it. still, on the outside it turns heads and i am still running stock but no one else would think so, so i guess that is why they are still on.

I have the SLP but am thinking about switching to the FRPPs and an O/R H. Would yall say that this setup would be louder than the SLPs?

Hell yeah it will be a lot louder. I had slp's and switched to the stingers. One of the best decisions I have ever made ( as far as my car goes)

On a scale of one to ten slp-7 offroad prochamber and stingers 9

As for the drone, mine smoothed out with about 600 to 800 miles on them, also helped was a CAI and a tune, had the shift points adjusted around that 1800 RPM "drone spot".
I love them, great in a parking garage!!! LOL

Just installed my Stingers today... total swap was around hour or so, mostly fighting to get right muffler centered... anyway, now the car sounds like a Mustang! It's awesome... can't wait to get C&L/SCT from Doug next week! Bamatuned.

The drone point around 1,800 RPM is pretty annoying though... over 2,000 RPM there's no drone at all.

Next week I get my windows tinted and I'm taking BSM 10" Stripe kit with me over there... better to do inside than outside. I ended up with 10" Matte Black stripes, since my car's black and already have Matte Black GT/CS stripes on the side, hope it looks good.

/M

I just installed my CAI/Tuner and it completely woke up the car. I took it out for a drive at night when it was about 35* and I slammed first kicked it sideways, punched second with a huge screech and instantly a huge smile came on my face. Next I downshifted into second and nailed it at 3500rpms, shifted hard into third and traction control kicked on! Wow!!

I've got the Borla Stingers in the mail because of this. Guy has 5k miles on them and I got them for $375. He installed ARH LTs and his wife said it was too loud. I installed Kooks LTs and with the Flowmasters I already have they're not loud enough. LOL... Guess we'll see how it sounds with the Kooks...from these posts I'm thinking I'll be liking it...

Allow me to pile on...

I'm about to go outside and pull my Borla cat back #140135 off and go back to stock in the interest of selling the car. It sounds great but I do feel the car will appeal to more buyers without the decibles and drone. The car does have 4.10's which help greatly, but for the average Joe they might be a bit much. My set went on with 5470 miles and is coming off with 10015 which = 4545 miles. They have never seen rain and have no scratches. I'll be listing them later here in the classifieds, but if anyone's interested, PM me.
