FRPP M-5230-GTA vs M-5230-5GT* mufflers

Possibly a stupid question, but I am just now realizing there may be a difference between the M-5230-GTA mufflers offered with the ford racing power pack for $325 and the M-5230-5GT* (Borla stingers) for $529. What is the difference?

Is anyone using the "GTA" power pack ones? How's the sound?

Any comments welcome.

I am using the Borla version by Ford racing and love them. I can't speak for the others though. I believe those are the ones they used on the Hertz Shelby and you should be able to find a sound clip on the net.

It's my understanding that FRPP GTA is made by Borla, but is not available thru Borla. The GTA is used on the GT-H (along with the X-Pipe), and will be used on the Shelby GT.
I had the use of a GT-H last week, and was very pleased with the GTA mufflers. I have decided to order the GTA mufflers, along with the X-Pipe for my ride. Hope this helps.
