Will the Ford Racing Parts front strut tower brace fit on a car with a Midwest Ind. intake cover? If not does anyone know which style / brand strut brace will clear the intake cover.

Thanks

I've heard that it doesn't. Personally, I went with the Tower Brace:

To all those with a strut tower brace, can you tell the difference in handling? If so, how dramatic is the difference?

Thanks,
Eric

I definitely felt the difference, and I remember there being a thread that the intake cover does fit, but has a little rub mark, so the person cut out the small section where it was rubbing, and also I have one for sale if anyone interested in the strut tower brace. 125 plus shipping. sells for 195 , used for less than 1000 miles. Had to sell the stang. pm for any interested in the frp strut tower brace.

I know the Steeda strut tower brace will fit. It just barely touches the cover on mine, but there are no issues. As time goes by, it will rub it's own little place in the intake cover I'am sure.

A couple of 1/4" thick washers would do the trick me-thinks!
