Fr 300
Here's a dumb question but it has never crossed me before, so I feel stupid to ask, a car lot here has a silver or tungsten mustang with black stipe package and my son sees it says FR 300 , dad what does that mean ? sorry I do not know, then he comes back and tells me hey dad you know that Saleen that's been here so long after it sold yah well Saleen had a recall on the break lines so a whole buch have to come back to get fixed. gee and he's 10 and getting more up on it than me

I thought the FR 500 was called that because it had 5.0Liter. It has 415hp so it's not named after the hp.
So going by that naming convention, assuming it was a GT, the dealer should have called it a FR 460 (for 4.6L). V6 would be a FR 400.
This has little to do with your post (and provides no useful info), but your title made me think of it.

I'll try to take a picture if it's not sold on my way home tomorrow ! looks like a regulat GT to me and I don't see them shelling out a wack of dough to sell it.
