We've asked the manufacturer to increase the protection of the mufflers and especially the tips. We're keeping our fingers crossed that they will, but until they do we've begun to open all the boxes and wrap the tips and inlet pipes with cardboard. This should prevent all but the most severe shipping abuse.

Thats great that you have addressed that issue as I have to admit I was pretty disappointed when I opened the box and saw just a small piece of bubble wrap wrapped around the tips.(exposing the ends)Sure enough they were dinged up and luckily I was able to sand and polish them out.The extra packing should help immensely

Ditto - just installed mine last night...but they were "lightly" packed and one of the tips had a few small (very light) dings/scratches in it from tumbling in the box during shipping. Can't see them as they are hidden under the rear fascia anyway. I like the sound - still similar to stock - but somewhat louder, and a bit deeper tone....and I must be in the minority but I like the V8 gurggle at idle - let's others know you have something under the hood

PS was just on Ninosports web site and they have a "one time" 10% discount going on for the month of November.....

I've been following posts about these and the November deal is too good to pass up. $251.96 shipped. I have Flowmasters now and am convinced that they must vary in sound between units. I read where some people have no drone but I do get drone now that they're broken in and I just don't want it that loud. It also seems louder now that it's cold out and I drive with the windows up.
According to peoples posts I think I will like these...louder and deeper than stock but no drone. I might miss my Flowmaster sound a little and can always put them back on this summer.

I just got mine in the mail. I am impressed with the extra wrapping you did. I am leaving all the cardboard in place until I install but it seems unlikely there could be any damage based on the extra protection you have placed on the pipes. Thanks for going the extra mile!!

Well that will be enough to seperate you from the crowd but I bet down the road you will be getting a tuner and a cold air kit. You will want to let those ponies run.

LOL I keep saying that myself. Just installed my shifter bezel today. Have rear window louvers in the box @ work,& a shaker hood scoop enroute.I just traded my last hobby/money pit for this one when I bought my car.

I plan on doing a bone stock exhaust 07 GT video and then a x-pipe + GTAs after video to share with everyone. My buddy says we can do some stuff in adobe premiere so that it will be almost as good as having two cars side by side... we'll see!!
