Ford Racing Shorty Headers...

I am considering purchasing some SLP Loud Mouth's but am also considering Ford Racing's Shorty High Flow Headers. Does anyone know what kind of HP the headers would give me as well as if this combo would cause to much trumpeting?

If your looking for HP with the shorty's - keep looking. My FRPP shorties only showed a 3 RWHP gain.

Everything Ive read says the stock headers are very open and long tube headers are the way to go. I unfortunatly already have the shorties. If i supercharge later ill definetly be going to long tubes.

Ok so for HP I should look elsewhere, does anyone know how this would sound with the LM's? or should I go with a different axle back? Thanks for all of your help

I have the FRPP shorties, off road h, and FRPP Borla Stingers and it sounds loud and deep. No trumpeting like I've experienced in the past with other setups.

I have the FRPP Shorties and FRPP Borla Stingers. My guess is that the two added 7-8 hp, with the headers maybe 3 or 4. I like the sound, which is deeper than with the stock manifolds and Stingers, but for performance definitely not worth the work.

From what i read, long tubes are the way to go for HP increase. and to answer your question, I guess the stock headers are that good.
