I'm thinking about posssibly installing Ford Racing Shorty Headers.

http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comer...p?idproduct=823

What gains can I expect and are they worth it?

Will I need a new tune? Curently have JLT 91 Octane SCT tune.

From what I have read people are getting about 2 rwhp for shorties. The factory manifolds are very efficient. Long tubes are about the only way to get any real HP from exhaust upgrades, and then you void your warrenty. MM&FF did a 3 part test over the last few months and there were no significiant gains for mufflers, H/X pipes, or shortie headers. Since the factory system is a full 2 1/2 setup with only 2 cats, you can't do much better than that, except for sound.

+2 rwhp is not worth it for the cost.

I'm sure there are cheaper ways to gain some ponnies.

If you were to install the "Sorties" and kept the stock exhaust, what would that do to the overall sound?
