just installeds fr /borla stingers with an airaid cai w/o tune and it sound freaking awsome noticed some increased power but not super noticeable.just wanted to ask if the exaust sound gets louder or softer as time goes on?drone is a little loud but like it

 

It should become deeper, more aggressive tone if you will. I can offer what I have learned from my personal install. I have a minimal drone, but like you I can deal with it.

 

drone will fade also with some burn in time. My was so bad my ears would ring, last time I drove it thing sounded great... either that or I got used to it...LOL.

 

Get the tune! it will be even better, much better. The Stinger's usually only drone when cruising steadily anyway. Not an issue. More noticable under 2000rpm. Don't use 5th, you'll be fine.

 

mine droned the worst at around 1800 rpm, bad thing is that was at 45 mph and 65~70 mph. Mostly crusing speeds...
