Ford Racing CAI

Just received my FR CAI and flash, is there anything I need to be aware of? The instructions show a pretty simple install..Any Issues please let me know. Thanks !!!

Be ready for very minimal gains if you got the ford racing tune.

come on now boys


No, its very simple, just make sure you reconnect everything, everything is tight and doesn't rattle against other parts, and follow the directions for the tuner. And everything should be snug, but you don't need to crank it down till the clamps strip. And take your time so you don't do something silly like scratch up the parts' finish on something.

Just make sure you follow the instructions for install of the tune. it's pretty
easy, installed mine in about 45 min. I'm happy with the performance, and it's smog legal(live in California) fill the tank with at least 91 octane. Have fun and good luck!!!!

Ditch the Ford racing programmer and get yourself a SCT and good tune. One time the Ford racing programmer failed in the middle of a download and killed my PCM. Good luck!

Thanks Guys, I'll see how it goes this week until I bun up all the 89 octane and then fill it back up with 91. gas dropped again here to $2.59, havent seen that in a while!
