Any Ford Power Pack Users with an Auto? I really would like to run a CAI and the GTA mufflers on my vert. Before I make a final choice, I was hoping to get some feedback on the Shelby GT/GT-H setup. From online videos I observed, it seems like Ford still left the torque management in charge with this setup as well.

I have an auto with the C&L SCT/BamaChips combo. Doug works miracles with the auto and I understand that the SCT is better for the auto than the Predator. I love most of the FRPP stuff(check my sig) but when it comes to a tuner I wouldn't go with them. If you do mods later Doug will update the tune for free, I don't think they will do that with a Ford tuner. Doug will give you 3 different tunes, all more aggressive than Ford's I'm sure.

Juice, I have and auto. I am working in California and see those GT-H's out here all over the place. I must say I am disappointed with the sound and from talking to a couple of people who drove them tell me they are disappointed in overall HP pickup from the stock GT's they had drove. I personally have the steeda CAI with SCT performance tune by Steeda and Steeda (Borla) exhaust. Steeda happens to make the Ford CAI you see in the power packs. Just thought you might want my 2 cents.

+1 - I wouldn't go with the Ford tuner - much less flexible and probably (I'm guessing here) less agressively tuned that Doug's.

I have the GTA axlebacks with the JLT II / SCT(BamaChips) tune and really like the combo. I'm considering picking up the FRPP x-pipe as well.

Hey Juice, I'm running the C&L street CAI and the brenspeed 93 performance tune! in my 06 auto, I was torn over the C&L-SCT Excalibur or the Ford power pack too! but in the long run the flexibility of the SCT will probably pay off!
