Ford 4:10's for sale brand new
#1
Since I am going with an SC i feel it will be too much if I go ahead and install the 4:10's I have as well so I have decided to part with them.I originally got the gears before the deal came up on the supercharger but they are still in the box as I never had the time to get them installed...taking offers here!
PM me if interested...thanks!

You don't need 4.10s if you plan on supercharging the car. 450+rwhp does wonders. If you install 4.10's with that much power all you are going to do is roast the tires into 3rd.

if you ever run slicks the 355 are to high of a gear as far a tires you should run drag tires with a supercharger. :bang:

good luck, just remember this when you go out and buy drag tires
Does your tuner drive a 05 GT ? Look at every magazine on 05 gt 410s
410s 410s supercharger ,nos 410s 410s.
410s =lower ET
I plan on running a 100 zex kit and i need drag tires as it is now.
I just cant see 450rwhp and not running drag tires at the least!
So when you get drag tires or slicks you will bog off the line without 410s.

The car is somewhat a daily driver, but I don't drag race it or anything like that.Sure i could put in the 4:10's and it would be a blast to drive i'm sure, but with the SC I am sure it will be overpowering enough for my needs and should I decide in the future i need to spend more time sideways then I can always get another set..
NOW somebody take these off my hands =)

Also, 4.10's don't = a lower ET......traction does.

Yes, I talked to the guy whom helped develop the procharger kit. 4.10s are great if you are building a drag car (what u see in magazines). Many of us don't have the luxury of going this route. If you plan on supercharging, a 4.10 is too much gear for a daily driver. You won't bog off the line with 450rwhp and the proper slicks.

A supercharged GT. Again, what you fail to realize is that there are different sizes of slicks. Play with the contact patch and sidewall and you won't bog. 11.6 is fast enough for me.

11.6 was done with 410s and not stock tires!

I commute 60 miles each day. Again, if this is a daily driver and you plan on supercharging the vehicle, a 4.10 is too much gear for the street.

Alright, you run your 4.10s and smoke the tires. I am not at the drag strip more than 1-2 times a year. I will be taking the car to HPDE's more than I drag race.

Grow up. It is his car not yours and he has made the decision to stick what the gears he has. You have made your opinion on the subject clear in a half dozen posts, so please move on.
