It's a large file, 7.5 Megs.... But it's VERY clear
Enjoy!

I think that sounds great. That is the sound I want, with out the gutted cats of course (stupid emissions tests).
I wonder How much of the sound is because of the gutted cats though?
Is this a flowmaster test vehicle? Or where the flowmasters fabricated to fit your car from the previous years model?

Thanks alot SixtySix
-90% of the sound is b/c the cats have been hollowed you, I originally had just the flowmaster mufflers on the car, they didn't make it any louder, just changed the sound somewhat
-I don't know if you put highflow cats on you car if it would be as loud, but thats the price you'll have to pay to save the enviornment.
-Stock H-pipe w/ cats hollowed out w/ 40 series Flowmaster mufflers (not delta flow)...by the way this is not a Flowmaster test car.
Thanks again SixtySix

Thanks for the upload 66. Man, I love the sound. And you say 90% of the sound is from gutting the cats? I think I'm sold.
Bucky... next objective is to figure out a way to open the stock h-pipe up some to improve flow. Make it more like an x-pipe or like the MAC pro-chamber.

Once you reflash the computer though and tell it to disregard the o2 sensors, can you take the sensors out to increase airflow? I mean, you technically could take the o2 sensors out as soon as you gut out the cats, since we know now that the check engine light is going to come on anyway, right?

not a 100% sure as of taking them out yet b/c they are still sending some kind of signal to the computer at this time and if they aren't working at all, then it may cause some kind of issues other than just the light on, the airflow isn't worth the chance, and probably not going to pick up much air flow by taking them out I wouldn't think, but I may be wrong. I've still got them installed in my 92 GT, but they are just unplugged.

Same here.
SixtySix thanks for the vid. It's gonna be hard to find examples of work done on 05's for reference for a long time but you just made one decision for me a heck of a whole lot easier.

Nice sound for the budget. I think it can never be too loud, of course I drove around town all day in my 66 after school with open long tube headers behind a 351W. The only thing I like about quiet cars is when there is one that is quiet that blows your doors off and you never expected it. B)
