Flowmaster or GTA?
Actually changing the mufflers did change that. I put the stock ones back on and it is a completely different sound, no raspyness, just sounds muffled now. Thats why I was thinking of trying the flows. I've seen other people on here also that complain that the GTA's are too raspy with headers and off road pipes.
sounds like a flowmaster to me. Flowmasters have a bit of mid/high sound as well, (not just pure low like some seem to have) but it's got a nice tone, and not real loud. That was my main complaint about the flowmasters, GREAT sound, but not quite loud enough for what I wanted!
here's a video of mine that shows the sound pretty good:

Ok one more question, which drones more Stingers or Flow ATs? I've heard the boomtubes and from videos they sound awesome, but to loud for my area, what I want is a quieter boomtube, that low rumble no rasp. I know everyone loves the stingers but all I read about is the drone.
I've got frpp shorty headers frpp x-pipe and flowmaster american thunder mufflers. love the sound!

I switched from the Flowmaster AT's to the GTA's. The Flows had no drone, but they were too loud for my daily driver. I prefer the raspier sound of the GTA's.
However, if you want a deep 60's exhaust note, go for the Flows.
