Finished installing the JLT CAI. Is this a problem though?
Hello,
I recently installed the JLT II CIA kit in my 06 Mustang GT. While installing the MAF component into the Billet MAF housing I noticed that the MAF (where the screw holes are) does not sit flush to the billet MAF housing. It looks like the gasket around the MAF is seating into the square cutout though. It appears that one would have to add some washers or spacers to get the mounting holes to sit flush with the MAF housing.
Is this by design?

Yeah, That's how they fit. If you look at it closely you'll see that it is actually "seated" into the slot and only the ends are elevated. I thought the same until a closer examination. Well... how do you like it?
