Factory scoop or Shelby scoop for '06 GT

I have an 06 GT and I am considering either a Shelby style scoop or a factory syle scoop. Are any of these available... and are they easily installed?
Any pics of Tungsten Grey with these scoops and stripes? I would sure like to see them to get an idea.

Thanx,
Jack

I don't believe the Shelby GT scoop is available to the public.

yeah i have been looking for the Shelby scoop and it is not available nor will it be available, just like the Shelby GT door sill plates and some of the other shelby products. Its shelby's way of stopping copycats. But the factory scoop is available on Ebay from a member on here, just search for it on Ebay and make sure the seller is clevengerparts, best price you will ever get on that scoop, that is where i am buying it from

Glenn there is no diff between the gtcs and gt. Unless 3dcarbon has changed their hood scoops they just mount with 3m tape! The factory scoop bolts on! as does the Roush scoop!

The Roush scoop is alittle bigger and the inlet is recessed some. I prefer the Roush and that's what I have on my car.

i like it, does anyone have a pic of the factory scoops, i am seriously going to buy a scoop from KC tomorrow in the morning and i can get either one, the only reason i like the factory is because it is just that Factory, and it looks good, and also i am going to be doing the mach1 stripe later on so i want it to wrap around this scoop

I've never understood the desire to put scoops on the car that don't function. Why why create drag when it doesn't even help anything. Trust me most people know it's fake. This should be in the exterior mods section as well because it's sure as hell not performance.

Why do you have stripes on your car! How much HP do you get out of them Drag on the scoop is minimal if any!....

Why do folks put larger rims/tires on their car that usually increase the unsprung weight and hurt 1/4mile times?

I think both are pretty fugly IMO. If I had to pick one it'd be the Ford one. The fake rivets on the Shelby are icky.

You wont have to worry about the rivets on the Shelby GT hood scoop unless you but the Shelby GT, that scoop is not available for sale by itself! I read somewhere that its one part Shelby wont sell!
