Did any of you use any sort of sealent when installing your exhaust just to make 100% sure there no leaks (particularly where the x/hpipe connects to the catback)? I'm just wondering, as im fairly sure I have a leak and this seems like cheap insurance of making sure it doesnt come back after I get the exhaust readjusted.

I've never heard of an exhaust sealer, myself. Best thing to do is take it to a good exhaust shop and have them weld them together.

Air no leakie through metal.

Seems like a shame to do this though if I ever need to take it off for any reason :/ I was just wondering if there was anything at all that would work without welding.

The exhaust is clamped together at the factory without any kind of sealer or gaskets. You don't need anything. Slip or ball fittings work great if they are attached properly

Try Permatex copper high temp silicon sealer (at any auto parts store)
we use this to seal harley exhaust pipes all the time.
