Exhaust & Muffler dilemma--HELP

Hey guys, I have a Flowmaster A/T setup which sounds pretty darn good. However, I am going to add a FRPP X-pipe in the spring.

Now here's the dilemma: I found I can get Borla Stingers (straight through) for VERY cheap. I am wondering if a change might be in order and I need your expert advice.
Car is otherwise stock exhaust system. I am willing to go a bit louder for more performance if that's what it takes.

Questions to help me decide:

1) List two subjective features for both Flows and Borlas/FRPPs (can be bad or good)

A. Borla-

B. Flows-

2) Loudest on a scale of 1-10?

3) Which muffler system is more suited to an X-pipe? (And what's louder?)

Thanks very much in advance for your comments...

I have the Flows and a catted Basani x-pipe. Now the flows have definitely lost their deep sound. It sounds a lot more raspy with a higher pitch. I am not sure what the Borlas sound like with an x-pipe. I haven't heard them together. I would guess that the Borlas are louder, though. What I do know is, after hearing my exhaust for a while, I am now looking for different mufflers. It is not the sound I am looking for.

If you can get the Borlas for cheap, then I would suggest buying them. And when you get the x-pipe, try both mufflers and see which one you like more. Then put the other set up on ebay.

Borla Stingers

Pros: T-304 stainless steel, lightweight, loud.
Cons: Normally expensive, loud (drone drives some people nuts).

Flowmasters:
Pros: Less expensive, good sound.
Cons: Aluminized steel.

HP wise? The x-pipe will let the air flow a little better. The high flow cats(if you get them) will help a lot also. It should put out more HP with just that. If not cats are put on then the gains will be more. As for the mufflers...any gains are minimal at best. My advice would be to choose the muffler that sounds best in your own opinion. Hope that helped.
