Exhaust install
Exhaust install
Got my car yesterday and plan on doing the axle backs today. Can someone explain the proper location for jacking up the rear end and tell me the best place to position jack stands?
Thanks

You don't HAVE to jack the car up or even use ramps to replace the exhaust. It will make it easier but it's not necessary. I used Rhino Ramps and they worked PERFECTLY.
What system are you putting on ?
Flowmaster
Borla
Corsa
FRPP ??

My driveway has a flat entrance to the garage and then a hill. I ended up putting the tires right to the edge of the flat part and used the slope to provide some extra clearance.
I have the Ford Racing (Borlas) and they sound great to me. Some of those bolts on the passenger side sure were a PITA to get to.

I didn't even jack my car up at all to do my FRPP Stingers. I just pulled my car in the garage. Fortunately my driveway slopes down so I just had the rear of the car stick out the garage, threw down my work cloth to lay on and went at it.
