Hi guys. It's been a long time since I posted a thread although I come here most everyday and find this forum very interesting. I checked the exaust thread before posting but didn't find an answer to my question so here it goes.

I'm thinking of changing the entire exaust system on my GT. I"m considering shorty headers and Borla axle backs from FFRP. As for the rest I'm not sure what to put while staying legal, so any input would be appreciated and by doing so, will I need to reflash the computer with a more free flow exaust system?

On the other hand, if I only put headers and axle backs, is there any downside as far as computer goes?

For now the only mod I've done so far besides changing wheels is droped a K&N CAI (without reflashing).

Again, if this issue has been posted before I'm sorry.

Thanks for all info,
John

I went with the Bassani x-pipe with comp cats and flowmasters. I didn't do anything as far as tuning goes, I just did the computer reset by disconnecting the battery.

I plan to do that setup plus add ceramic coated shorty headers from FRPP.

those exhaust changes aren't going to get you much in the gains dept

Headers will get you maybe 3 HP and the axel back maybe another 3. The big numbers are found in the H pipe

Well that was educating to say the least but if I go with that combo, what brand of H pipe should I get. Thanks guys.
